Pat received her bachelor's degree in education from Mississippi State and went on to receive her master's degree in education administration from Mississippi College. She has been working as an educational consultant since 2007 after retiring from school systems with over 35 years of dedicated service.

Carri received her bachelor's in early childhood education from Alcorn State University and her masters and doctorate degrees from Jackson State University. Carri has been working as an education consultant for the last three years after retiring from the Jackson Public Schools with 30 plus years of dedicated service.

Carri has served as a classroom teacher, reading recovery teacher, district literacy facilitator, district executive director of the state and federal programs, assistant principal, principal, adjunct professor and education consultant.
